Dried elder flowers offer several medicinal benefits, particularly in supporting respiratory health. They are commonly used to alleviate symptoms of colds, flu, and sinus congestion due to their expectorant and decongestant properties. Elder flowers also possess anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds, which may help soothe sore throats and reduce inflammation in the body. Additionally, they are valued for their diaphoretic properties, promoting sweating and aiding in fever reduction during illness.
All of my dried herbs are either from my garden or locally sourced from small farms in southern Oregon.
Herbs are sold in solid brown bags to keep light off of them and preserve the quality of the herbs.
