Dried chamomile offers several medicinal benefits, primarily known for its calming properties, making it a popular remedy for promoting relaxation and improving sleep quality. It contains compounds like apigenin that have mild sedative effects, aiding in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety. Chamomile is also valued for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which can help soothe gastrointestinal discomfort and promote digestive health. Additionally, chamomile has been used topically to relieve skin irritations, such as eczema and dermatitis, due to its gentle and soothing nature.
All of my dried herbs are either from my garden or locally sourced from small farms in southern Oregon.
Herbs are sold in solid brown bags to keep light off of them and preserve the quality of the herbs.
