Horsetail is considered the most abundant source of silica found in nature. Silica supports collagen production. Every cell in your body needs Silica to even exist, & since we are constantly regenerating on the cellular level, it's essential for your body to have an adequate supply of Silica to regenerate healthy cells.
It is nutrient dense and remineralizing. Regular consumption removes toxins from the body, strengthens bones, tendons, hair, nails and improves skin health.
Because of its abundant vitamin and mineral content, Horsetail restores and maintains healthy internal tissues, like mouth and throat health, improves the digestive system and soothes intestinal lining.
Horsetail is beneficial to the respiratory, cardiovascular and urinary systems and has diuretic properties. It is anti microbial and anti inflammatory.
Horsetail is a brain-boosting herb and may protect us from cognitive disorders like Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Its high Antioxidant content is linked to higher cognitive abilities and increase in neural pathways
All of my dried herbs are either from my garden or locally sourced from small farms in southern Oregon.
Herbs are sold in solid brown bags to keep light off of them and preserve the quality of the herbs.
