Dried rose hips are prized for their rich vitamin C content, making them a potent immune-booster that may help prevent and alleviate symptoms of colds and flu. They also contain antioxidants like flavonoids and phenolic compounds, which can help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the body, potentially lowering the risk of chronic diseases. Rose hips are valued for their ability to support skin health, as they contain vitamins A and E along with essential fatty acids that promote collagen production and skin regeneration. Additionally, they have been used traditionally to support joint health and alleviate symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis due to their anti-inflammatory properties.
All of my dried herbs are either from my garden or locally sourced from small farms in southern Oregon.
Herbs are sold in solid brown bags to keep light off of them and preserve the quality of the herbs.
